This contract was carried out under live traffic management constraints. A significant element of the scheme involved the management & co-ordination of statutory service providers.
Works during the 14 week scheme included the following:
Uplift & removal of existing pavements
Alterations to roundabout splitter island
Drainage & duct alterations & installation
Construction of new signal controlled pedestrian crossings
New kerbing, surfacing & lining works
Footpath construction with new flags / blocks
Filling & grouting to subway
Installation of new traffic signs, street furniture & pedestrian guardrail
