Construction of carousel foundations at operational manufacturing site, Walker Riverside Newcastle upon Tyne

This project involved the construction of new reinforced concrete foundations to accommodate the future installation of carousels for the storage of umbilical product.
Works comprised the following:
General site clearance
Breaking out existing 200mm thick reinforced hard standing areas
Breaking out and existing 600mm thick reinforced concrete foundation
Excavation of ground below the concrete hard standing & foundation
Removal of surplus material to a registered tip
Construction of reinforced concrete foundations (25m², 27m², and 15m²) for the carousels and associated structures
